Ernan BaldomeroErnan Terrano Baldomero, an activist, incidental politician, blogger, computer tinker and your friendly neighborhood aswang.

A second eldest to four siblings of the late Lezo SB member Fernando Baldomero and Erlinda Terrano of Madalag, Aklan.

He was born on December 9, 1979, finished his elementary at Lezo Elementary School, his high school at Malinao School for Philippine Craftsmen and his degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Aklan College.

He was a student leader during his high school and college days. He was elected president of all the student organizations at Malinao School for Philippine Craftsmen in Malinao including the Supreme Student Government and the editor-in-chief of the Artisan’s Pen.

From University of the Philippines in the Visayas, he transferred to Aklan College where he was elected as President of the Aklan College Supreme Student Government, and the literary and later on associate editor of Aklan Collegian.

He was also a member of various progressive student organizations such as College Editor’s Guild of the Philippines, National Union of Students of the Philippines and the League of Filipino Students as its provincial spokesperson.

After graduation, he served briefly as education officer of Bagong Alyansang Makabayan until he decided to lie low and look for job in the private sector.

He became a freelance columnist at Hala Birada Newsweekly, and later as news reporter of Panay News, a regional news daily based in Iloilo City.

Months after he was promoted as Branch Manager and assigned to San Jose, Antique for five years.

He was then elected as Vice president of Antique PNP Press Corps and President of Antique Media Council.

While serving as a news reporter of Panay News, he also worked as part-time radio anchor and reporter of a local radio station in Antique, news stringer of GMA TV, and news editor and reporter of Coop Patrol, a weekly TV news program of Barbaza Coop Cable TV.

He resigned from his media profession and worked as a freelance internet copywriter and website developer for various clients based in United States and United Kingdom. His hope of working abroad as a computer programmer was not realized when his father SB member Fernando Baldomero was killed on July 5, 2010.

He was chosen by Tibyog-Lezo headed by Mayor Victor Fernandez as a replacement. He joined the Liberal Party and on September 2010 he was sworn in by Governor Carlito Marquez as the appointed Sangguniang Bayan Member of Lezo.

He already sponsored various ordinances and resolutions at the Sangguniang Bayan that will benefit the people of Lezo.

He returned to activism on 2010 and he is now acting as the Aklan provincial coordinator of Makabayan and National Vice President of Hustisya, an organization of human rights victims in the country.
